Colnago Master

Colnago Master
Retro styling with modern Groupset.
Steel Colnago master frame with Campagnolo record components from different eras. The shamals were 8 speed and with help from  Dan at Shifter Bikes they were converted to 10 speed with a 9 speed freewheel.
Custom Turbo saddle by Michael Peel from Busyman. Continental tyres, Speedplay pedals, Cinelli bars and stem makes a wonderful solid ride.

  1. Amazing, definite bike porn. You guys are in Melb? I am originally from Syd but don't hold that against me... Now stuck in Singapore where it's carbon fibre that rules the roost....bore. Be dreaming of the Master tonight, great job with the refurb on the bike guys, plenty of people would be queuing up to buy one. George

  2. Hi George,
    Thanks for the comps.
I am from Melbourne and the Master is just one of my rides. Do you guys get fined for riding steel there?
    cheers

  3. Haha nice one. Not being a local I am probably not aware of that partiular clause in the local by-laws. But I wouldn't be surprised if you were right. Is the Master comparatively heavy to ride (I know it would depend on your level of fitness, inclination of the road, etc)? Compared with a aluxx frame that is. I am very tempted to order the Master X Light frame myself. Keep up the great work.

  4. Hey there,
Great ride! I love the combination of a classic bike with modern components. May I ask where you found the white hoods for the shifters? Thanks :)
